Unlacquered Brass Shower Systems

Filter

Our unlacquered brass shower systems are handcrafted from solid brass and left uncoated, so they age gracefully into a warm patina. Choose an exposed system for a classic, vintage bathroom, or a built-in set for a cleaner look.

    • Exposed shower systems: with an optional handheld shower or tub filler
    • Built-in shower sets: including shower and tub-filler combinations
    • Brass shower heads: on a straight, half-curved or curved arm

Most systems let you choose a domed, flat round or square shower head and a simple cross, flat cross, old lever or classic lever handle. Prefer copper? See our copper shower heads and copper outdoor showers.

How to choose an unlacquered brass shower system

    Exposed or built-in?

An exposed shower system mounts on the wall surface. The valve, riser pipe and shower arm are all on show, and only the hot and cold supply lines come through the wall, which makes it a good choice for a renovation. A built-in set hides the valve inside the wall, leaving the handles, spout and shower head in view. It needs open walls, so it suits a new build or a full remodel.

    Choose the parts you need

Most systems are built around an 8-inch brass shower head in a domed, flat round or square style. Many add a handheld shower with hose and holder, and our tub-filler sets add a 6-inch spout for a shower over a bathtub. Exposed risers measure about 47 inches tall with a 16-inch reach, so measure from your valve position to the ceiling before you order.

    Installation and warranty

Our systems ship complete with the valve, faceplates and fittings, so your plumber only needs to connect the hot and cold supply. You also get an installation guide and video, a 5-year warranty and free express shipping to the US.
